Our lake shot list

The shots we plan for at every lake, so your gallery never ends up as the same photo twenty times. All four from one session.

  1. A woman in a mustard toque kissing the cheek of her wet golden retriever

    The connection shot

Hugs and kisses, up close. The photo you'll probably frame one day.

  2. A golden retriever up on a log kissing a woman in a toque, misty mountains behind

    Up on a log

A rock, log or dock lifts your pup up and puts the whole view behind them.

  3. A close-up of a wet golden retriever's eyes and nose

    The details

Wet coat, eyes, snout. And the moment they sneak into the treat pouch.

  4. A woman and her golden retriever on a lakeshore below a forested mountain

    The wide shot

We step back and take in the lake and the view. The surprise star of the set.

Hi, we're Drishti and Vihang

A couple who love animals, photography and our two pups, Shifu and Sirius. It started with unscripted moments on hikes. Pet sitting showed us the joy our photos bring other families.

"Would you drive 350km for photos of your dogs? Because apparently I would."

Good to know

Answers to what people ask most. All FAQs

What package do you currently offer?

We offer a single outdoor photography session. It includes 5 edited digital photos and the option to purchase additional photos.

My dog isn't well-trained or doesn't know any tricks. Can we still get good portraits?

Absolutely! Our goal is to capture your pup's personality just as they are. No tricks or perfect training required. We'll guide you through the session and use plenty of treats, toys, and patience to make sure your dog is having fun. A happy pup means authentic, beautiful photos that truly reflect who they are.

What if the weather isn't suitable for an outdoor shoot?

We know BC's weather can be unpredictable, so we'll keep an eye on it leading up to the morning of the session. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll work together to reschedule to the next available date that works for you.

Can I be part of the photos?

Absolutely! The bond you share with your pet is priceless, and including you in the photos makes them even more special. Don't worry about posing. We'll guide you every step of the way.

How long does a single session take?

Every pet is unique and may need time to settle into the environment. That's why we don't set a strict time limit for our sessions. On average, a single session takes about an hour to an hour and a half to complete.
